Patrol Road Water Main Replacement

Jeffersonville, IN

The River Ridge Development Authority was established to replace the lost economic revenue previously generated by the now shuttered Indiana Army Ammunition Plant. The Authority has a goal of developing the 6,000 plus acres of property with companies from across the nation and around the world that are capable of keeping the River Ridge on the cutting edge of technology.

In order to meet the growing needs of tenants, the River Ridge Development Authority consulted with Clark Dietz to replace undersized water lines on Patrol Road, which involved design and construction to replace a 1940’s era water main along Patrol Road and Trey Street. The improvements provide for the installation of approximately 3,100 LF of 12-inch water main that improves capacity, provides access for future maintenance and allows for the abandonment of the existing main that is undersized and reaching the end of its useful life.
