Ron Pretty, PE, PTOE, leads with a passion for improving safety, mobility, and the overall travel experience for road users. As a Traffic Operations and Safety Engineer, Ron brings a strong background in traffic analysis, crash evaluation, work zone mobility, and traffic impact studies, supporting both DOT and local agency projects. He is well-versed in tools like Synchro, HCS, and VISSIM to evaluate roadway performance and help agencies develop smart, data-driven solutions.
Ron’s approach is rooted in collaboration, technical excellence, and a deep commitment to public safety. His project work spans everything from signal timing and operations studies to developing comprehensive Transportation Management Plans (TMPs) for complex infrastructure projects. Ron is highly knowledgeable in DOT, AASHTO, and FHWA standards and guidelines, and recently earned his PTOE (Professional Traffic Operations Engineer) certification, reinforcing his commitment to advancing the traffic engineering field.
