It is with best wishes that we congratulate Melody Garland on her retirement from Clark Dietz after 46 years of service! Melody began her career as a typist in 1977, and despite changes in ownership, leadership, and technology, she has been a constant high-performer and dedicated employee.

In her role as a Marketing Coordinator, Melody has been an integral part of our success; her unmatched institutional knowledge and consistently strong writing and design skills have contributed to many new project awards for our firm.

Melody worked closely with our engineering staff, excelling as a effective communicator. She has always been considered reliable and dedicated to her colleagues. Melody has often been called upon to help others in their work, and without question, she has always delivered.

Melody exemplifies our Clark Dietz values, and the commitment of spending her entire career with one firm cannot be understated.

In her 2022 President’s Award nomination, Melody was described as, “…organized and diligent, and importantly holds pursuit team members accountable. Melody has also mentored and taught new employees, showing patience while modeling the diligence needed to properly perform her role in marketing. She never shies away from a challenge and represents stability and reliability– always aiding our success.”

Outside of her work at Clark Dietz, Melody loves to spend time with her family including her children and grandchildren. She’s looking forward to spending more time travelling and sightseeing.

Thank you, Melody! You will be missed!
