Antonio Acevedo, PE

Transportation Team Leader, Northern Illinois

Mr. Acevedo is a transportation engineer and serves as project engineer on Phase I studies and Phase II designs. His experience includes geometric highway design, traffic capacity analyses, traffic signal design, public involvement, crash analyses, and intersection and interchange design studies. Antonio is proficient in the use of Microstation, Geopak, ArcGIS, Google Sketchup, and Adobe Photoshop. His talents include the preparation of 3D renderings and visualizations for public involvement, and he is a trained and experienced meeting facilitator. Antonio is a certified remote pilot for drone aircraft, which he uses to document current projects, develop visual aids for public involvement purposes, and strengthen the development of project proposals. In his free time, Antonio volunteers as the co-director of El Paseo Community Garden in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago.
