We extend our warmest wishes to Connie Dillard-Myers as she retires after six years of service as an Administrative Assistant in our Champaign office. With over two decades of prior experience, Connie brought a wealth of knowledge, professionalism, and warmth to our team.
But Connie was so much more than her title. She became the heartbeat of the Champaign office, always ready with a smile, a kind word, and yes, a tray of her famous cookies baked fresh in the office toaster oven. Those cookies became legendary throughout Clark Dietz, with colleagues (and even visitors) timing their trips to Champaign just right in hopes of catching a warm batch.
“She is a ray of sunshine,” said Communications Manager Allison Cummings. “She was the perfect welcoming to our headquarters. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to greet people when they came in the door.”
Illinois Regional Director, Sean Widener, PE, PTOE, shared, “We will miss Connie’s warm smile and contagious laugh. Wishing you the best in your second retirement! You are welcome to come back anytime for fresh baked cookies.”
Senior Client Advisor Michael Livermore reflected, “Connie’s kindness and engaging greetings at the front desk will be missed every day! The dogs will be happy to have her home more, but she has promised to come back for a visit at Clarks on Fridays. Enjoy your retirement, Connie!”

Connie, thank you for your dedication, your warmth, and your countless contributions that made our Champaign office—and Clark Dietz as a whole—feel more like family. Working with you was truly a joy, filled with laughs, inside jokes, and the kind of memories that remind us how much you’ve touched the lives of everyone here. We wish you the very best as you begin this next chapter of your life.
