We are pleased to announce a new project with the Village of Libertyville, continuing our Commitment to Engineer Quality of Life for a Community that is home to many of our project team members.

“I am excited to work with the public works and engineering staff to understand their system and identify beneficial and cost-effective solutions to guide their capital planning efforts,” said Senior Engineer, Ben Metzler, PE.

Clark Dietz will begin the Water System Condition Assessment Report for the Village of Libertyville this month. Our mechanical, structural, electrical, and civil teams will conduct a comprehensive review and inspection of all the Village’s water facilities, including booster pump stations, elevated towers, ground storage reservoirs, pressure reducing/adjusting stations, and backup wells/wellhouses. In partnership with KLM Engineering, we will conduct tank coating and condition inspections.

We will collaborate with the Village public works staff to gain a more profound understanding of the institutional knowledge components and the system’s pain points and issues that may not be readily apparent during an inspection. Our team will subsequently develop recommendations, phasing, and cost opinions for the distribution system and facilities’ improvement.

The final report, which will be prepared by Clark Dietz, will serve as a valuable resource for Village staff, supporting and enabling improved planning and project implementation. We are committed to delivering quality service and providing Libertyville with the necessary tools to make sound decisions for the betterment of their community.
