Instrumentation & Controls Technician

Ms. Simonis is a Clark Dietz shareholder who supports a broad range of engineering requirements. She specializes in electrical, control, security, and lighting design. Having worked as a maintenance electrical and instrumentation journeyman in an industrial facility, she has a proper understanding of design constraints and troubleshooting conflicts before they arise. She has completed project work in several correctional and healthcare facilities and is keenly aware of the demands in these sensitive locations.

She has been involved with the design of various roundabout, bridge, athletic field, and roadway lighting projects. Christel has experience in SCADA systems, instrumentation and controls, door control implementation, security (video surveillance, card readers, etc.), and related systems for a variety of educational, municipal and state projects. She has also completed the OSHA 10 training and supports field surveying for arc flash studies.
