After more than two decades of dedicated service, Lori Krezinski is retiring from Clark Dietz, capping a career that has supported nearly every corner of the organization and left a lasting imprint on those lucky enough to work alongside her.
Lori joined Clark Dietz 24 years ago as an Office Administrator in our Kenosha office, providing essential support to the local team and then-CEO John Boldt. Even in those early days, Lori’s deep sense of responsibility and willingness to jump in wherever needed were unmistakable. As opportunities to develop into pursuit marketing grew over time, she didn’t just step in; she stepped up, evolving her role and integrating into the talented Marketing Coordinator group.
In her role as Senior Marketing Specialist, Lori became one of the department’s most trusted experts. Her remarkable memory for where and when specific content had been used was a frequent lifesaver on deadline days. Even more impressively, she developed a sharp instinct for proposals with the potential to win. This radar helped shape many successful pursuits, particularly for complex RFQ/Ps with Wisconsin municipalities, cementing client relationships that remain strong to this day.
Lori also brought a steady hand and growing confidence to the technical side of marketing. She became a power user of Deltek and she welcomed learning new tools like the Adobe Creative Suite. Her effort directly helped elevate the quality of our deliverables. During a significant marketing reorganization in 2022, Lori’s institutional knowledge and steady hand helped the new team find its footing and gain clarity on what makes Clark Dietz unique.
Beyond her technical and professional contributions, Lori has been a cornerstone of Clark Dietz culture. She was the de facto promo item queen, our guru for anything branded and swag-related, often causing coworkers to ask, ‘how do I get one of those!?’ A passionate member of the Culture Committee, Lori consistently advocated for her fellow employees, recognizing not just their professional contributions but their human needs, too. She never hesitated to donate PTO to coworkers in need and was quick to celebrate the successes of others.
Her contributions extended to the daily operations of Clark Dietz as well. She leaned into necessary functions, including sales reporting and new client bonuses, aiding accuracy and accountability. From ordering safety gear to maintaining crucial administrative functions, Lori kept things running, often behind the scenes and without fanfare.
Lori’s professional story began before Clark Dietz, with leadership roles at Spherion and Western Publishing. But it’s here that her legacy has taken root. As a long-time Shareholder and a true champion of the Clark Dietz mission and values, Lori has helped shape our organization from the inside out.
In retirement, Lori looks forward to traveling with her husband Eric, including long-postponed trips and a special visit to friends in Canada. She’s even committed to trying golf lessons (a fact Eric is surely thrilled about). But what Lori is most excited for is simple and wonderful: spending more time with her grandkids.
At Clark Dietz, Lori showed up every day with the same thoughtful intention: to make things a little better for someone else. As she embarks on this next chapter, we offer our heartfelt thanks.
“Lori’s trust and loyalty have meant the world to me. From the beginning, she was open-minded about my management style, and once I earned her trust, she gave it fully. Her belief in our mission and in me personally is part of what’s made my role so fulfilling. Lori made our team stronger, our work better, and our culture kinder. She leaves Clark Dietz better than she found it—and that’s the most any of us can hope to do.” – Scott Anstandig, Director of Marketing and Communications
Congratulations, Lori, you’ll be deeply missed, but your impact will be felt for years to come.
