Pumping Station Improvements

Oak Creek, WI

The Oak Creek Water and Sewer Utility was experiencing unreliability and component failure of the electrical system at its Low Lift Pumping Station. Clark Dietz evaluated the existing electrical equipment to determine needed replacements, including transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, and instrumentation and controls. Based on the evaluation, Clark Dietz provided:

• Preliminary layout, equipment and service recommendations
• Design of a mezzanine for the new service equipment
• Staging to allow lift station to remain in service during construction
• Bid specifications, plans, details, and probable construction costs
• Permit process
• Agency/utility coordination for the chosen alternative
• Surveys of utility locations, access road and property lines
