Ms. Dovalovsky is a Vice President and the Northern Illinois Area Manager for Clark Dietz. She joined Clark Dietz’s structures department in 1998 after earning a BSCE from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After earning her MBA from DePaul University, Ms. Dovalovsky took over leadership of the Chicago area transportation department.
Her experience includes feasibility studies, inspection, design of improvements, railroad grade separation projects, and structural design. She has worked on designs for replacement or rehabilitation of a variety of bridges and culverts, including single and multiple-span structures for motor vehicles, railroads, and pedestrians, and has construction observation and documentation experience on bridge, roadway, sewer and water main projects. She has experience managing multi-discipline teams on projects ranging between $30,000 and $300,000,000 in construction cost.
Her most recent project focus is on Phase I preliminary engineering studies for roadway corridors, interchange replacements, and intersection improvements. As an experienced Context Sensitive Solutions practitioner, she has developed Stakeholder Involvement Plans, website and media content, newsletters, meeting displays, and facilitated numerous workshops and enjoys working with project stakeholders to develop the right solution for their infrastructure.
