Ryan Hughes, PE

Project Engineer

Ryan serves as project engineer with expertise including transportation planning and engineering, application of modeling software to micro and macro level traffic problems, modal conflict analysis of city-wide transportation systems, urban roadway design, bicycle and pedestrian street design, and roundabout design and analysis. Ryan also has experience in water main design as well as storm and sanitary sewer projects.

With a passion for serving humanity, Ryan has been heavily involved in community and social justice causes and volunteerism, including Habitat for Humanity and the Champaign County (IL) Racial Justice Task Force. When he’s not on the job, Ryan pursues his hobbies of biking, cooking and reading, as well as exploring central Kentucky where he’s newly made his home.
