Jacob Phillips is a seasoned leader with a distinguished career in client relations, project management, and public service. As Central Indiana Area Manager, Jacob brings a wealth of experience from his tenure as Director of Capital Program Development for INDOT’s Greenfield District, where he managed the successful delivery of over 130 construction projects annually, totaling more than $420 million in value. His exceptional leadership and strategic insight have consistently delivered outstanding project outcomes and ensured client satisfaction.
With an extensive network and a proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, Jacob has been instrumental in advancing project effectiveness. His experience in collaborating with local and state elected officials has been vital in securing support for high-impact projects and navigating complex processes.
Jacob’s diverse background includes prior roles in operations management and workforce development at Scientific Applications International Corporation, following an early career in law enforcement. Originally from California, he holds a B.S. in Electrical Technology from Thomas Edison State University and has served in the Marine Corps Reserve for 28 years. Jacob is also a dedicated volunteer fireman and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and mountain biking. However, his greatest joy comes from spending quality time with his wife of 27 years, their six children, and one grandchild, whether working on puzzles, playing games, or simply tossing a ball around.
