The Illinois Municipal League (IML) Board of Directors appointed members to lead its Risk Management Association (RMA) at a meeting held December 3, 2016 in Chicago.
Sean Widener, PE, of Clark Dietz, Inc. was appointed to serve a one-year term on the IML Risk Management Association (IMLRMA) board. Widener has served as a member of the Risk Management Association board since June 1, 2016.
“My time on the board has been rewarding and I am pleased to continue serving the IML and the Risk Management Association in 2017,” Widener said.
Sean Widener is a Vice President with Clark Dietz, Inc., an engineering consultancy operating from offices in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. Sean was elected to the Mahomet Village Board as a Trustee in 2009 and is currently serving as Village President. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois and Indiana as well as a registered Professional Traffic Operations Engineer. Sean is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a veteran of the Illinois Army National Guard. Sean and his wife Darcy have two sons and have lived in Mahomet since 2003.
The IMLRMA was formed in 1981 to stabilize costs and provide liability, property and workers’ compensation coverage needed specifically for municipalities. IMLRMA’s primary goal is to help city, town and village officials safeguard their physical, human and financial assets.
