Description

Clark Dietz provided construction engineering services to IDOT District 1 for the construction staking, inspection, documentation, and material testing during the roadway and bridge reconstruction of I-80 from the Norfolk & Southern Railroad to just west of US Route 45. The rehabilitation consisted of total removal of the existing four-inch CRC pavement, extensive roadway undercutting, placement of 12-inch aggregate sub-grade, placement of BAM stabilized sub-base, and placement of a 12.25-inch CRC pavement, and a 12-inch PCC shoulder.
