38 MGD Lift Station, Standpipe and Odor Control

Description

This project includes a new 38 MGD lift station pumping into a 5 mile long 42-inch force main. The outlet end of the force main is a standpipe needed to maintain consistent back pressure on the force main to reduce surge pressures and to prevent draining every pump cycle. Both the lift station and the standpipe are located on City park property and near residential areas. They will both have redundant odor control facilities. Some of the key project elements include:
