Description

Clark Dietz provided construction engineering services to IDOT District 1 during the reconstruction and widening of 22nd Street from Illinois Route 56 (Butterfield Road) to Illinois Route 83 (Kingery Highway). The new pavement consisted of 8-3/4 inch jointed reinforced PCC pavement. Eastbound lanes were widened from two to three lanes from Butterfield Road to Midwest Road and from three to four lanes from Midwest Road to Route 83. Westbound lanes were widened from two to three lanes. This project also included traffic signal modernization, interconnect, lighting, embankment, undercutting, water main and storm sewer installation.
